After 28 years of daily use, our previous GE electric range oven finally gave up last month. Im not a fan of maintaining the ceramic cook tops, and gas isn't a viable option. So we chose a new GE electric range and could not be happier. The Sensi-temp coils are a new feature providing peace of mind as the kids learn cookery. And i appreciate the solid construction, modern look and feel of the new unit. I highly recommend GE ranges to friends and family. And it's a great way to support American-made products.

This stove is horrible! The coils do not heat up evenly! One thing I love about electric stoves is the consistency. This drive has managed to ruin my perception of electric stoves because the heat is not constant. I have to move and shift my pans around to cook things evenly. Frustrating! I hate this stove! I™™m so upset. I just moved to this new townhouse. I love everything but this stove. It is really upsetting. I love to cook and this problematic.

One of the 3 burners won't level. The stainless steel is not fingerprint resistant. The range takes forever to heat to 450 degrees. The drawer on the bottom is so flimsy.

Our last one the glass top broke. This time we went with the coils have had it for a month so far so good. The lower pullout storage is a little flimsy but for the price you can™™t beat it.

Just replacing my old GE, that still works great, with a stainless steel model. Great to find a new unit that still has the coil eye top. One week in and this stop performs as good as the old one, as expecting from a GE range!

Had to buy this sight unseen,now I know why.No handle on very flimsy bottom drawer.Very hard to open. Have to strain to see marks on control knobs.All in all I would say it will not last long. Very first GE Product and very last.

It looks nice but black is wrong color because everything shows up more on top but in oven hard to see how dirty it is. knobs should have a mark in one end to indicate location of the temperature gage

Easy to level. Plenty of features. Does seem to take a little longer to preheat then I'd like. Cooks evenly. Only complaint is the same for all electric ranges, once something is boiling on the burner it continues to boil even when you turn it down to "1" or the lowest setting. This range does a great job overall and is definitely worth the money compared to much higher priced models.

Looks great when installed. First time we used the oven the range top and switch panel got so hot that you could not leave your hand on it for more than a second. Great repair response but have to wait one or two weeks for repair.

Very disappointed in the quality of this product! Had to return the first stove because the bottom warming drawer would not shut properly and was crooked and the top of the stove was also lopsided and wobbled! Now I have the second stove and already one of the top burners is rusting and it is only two months old

We've just recently had this stove installed. So far it's working great. The burners heat up pretty quickly. The oven has been great and so far everything we've baked has been cooked well. We knew we were buying a lower cost product so weren't expecting anything spectacular. We don't like the fact the cooktop doesn't close down tightly after opening it to clean. If you hold both sides it actually moves side to side. The plastic on the settings area has a big bubble in it which doesn't affect using it but it's a bit irritating. Our last GE stove was much sturdier. In general we are happy with our purchase and hoping it lasts for many years.

I wanted a simple basic model that works well, heats up fast! It fit the bill.
One item that is a minor issue™"There™™s a metal strip above the pull out storage at the bottom that came loose on the ends. I tried to push it back in but it keeps coming loose.

When the oven arrived, it did not have any of the blue plastic covering to protect the top portion where the knobs are. Needless to say it had scratches on it. Also, the stove top was bowed
and panel that shows the temp and time was pushed in a little.
So far the oven works fine, just disappointed that it wasn't better protected since it took nearly 3 months to arrive.

I like the stainless steel but the cooking top is black and it always looks streaked. I do not like that. So far, it works like my old harvest gold appliance that I hated to part with but the oven stopped working and I couldn't get parts because it was made in 1976. Today all you get is a 1 year warranty unless you buy an extended policy. That's another reason I hated to part with the old one along with my 1976 harvest gold frig.
